🐘 POCHITO Festival: music, gastronomy and community to raise awareness about DIPG in Viña del Mar
Carl Felgueras, Communications Manager at the Fundación Santino Pizarro Carrizo, visited the studios of Radio Valentín Letelier and Radio Festival to invite the community of the Valparaíso Region to a free, family-friendly, non-profit festival taking place on April 25th and 26th at the Sporting Club in Viña del Mar. All funds raised will go directly to supporting families facing DIPG in Chile.
An Invitation With Purpose
The Santino Pizarro Carrizo Foundation is doing what it does best: reaching as many people as possible.
This week, Carl Felgueras, Communications Manager at the Foundation, visited the studios of Radio Valentín Letelier and Radio Festival to talk in detail about POCHITO Festival and, above all, to put at the center of the conversation something that can no longer remain invisible in our country: DIPG, the diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, an extremely aggressive pediatric brain tumor that has no available treatment in Chile.
Through both interviews, Carl extended an open invitation to the entire community to be part of a two-day event filled with gastronomy, live music, family entertainment and a great purpose. POCHITO Festival will take place on Saturday April 25th and Sunday April 26th at the Sporting Club in Viña del Mar from 11:00 to 22:00 hrs, with free admission and an environment designed for the whole family to enjoy all day long in a safe, open-air and Pet Friendly space! 🐶

About the Santino Pizarro Carrizo Foundation
The Foundation was born after Santino’s DIPG diagnosis — a 7-year-old boy whose story led his family to create an organization with a clear purpose: that no family should have to face this journey alone. Today it operates as a bridge between the Chilean healthcare system and the therapeutic possibilities available in the world, accompanying, guiding and funding the path of those who receive this devastating diagnosis.
